Released Q4 2022 Update and Content Now Available

Yes, I'm referring to Fuji. It doesn't *have* to be postponed, but its a choice on where to put your manpower who create tracks. In this case, in order to produce an up-to-date WEC game, they will need to put LMH and LMDh cars into the sim, and that is going to take some time. I think the Glickenhaus is the only other true non-hybrid like the Vanwall (and given the owners distaste for simracing, I don't suspect we'll ever see it). The others all have some form of hybrid drivetrain (lots of different types in fact). Also, since in my opinion they ought to finish off the BTCC content first, by definition those new sportscars have to wait in the queue. Since the cars have to wait, no need to rush the track either. They did Virtual LM esports without Fuji this year, no reason that will change for next year. Further, I think Fuji is owned by Toyota. I suspect Toyota would want a "bundled deal" for the LMH and track. I already see iRacing have released Fuji and have the GR86 and rumors of a Supra GT4 coming, so it seems like iRacing have a better start on a relationship with them than S397 does at this time. Thus for tracks, there's a lot of IndyCar tracks need to be produced (for the MSGS standalone game, but also for here) which as far as I know they want to release in 2023. If 2023 S1 and S2 have the BTCC releases, the next tracks should be IndyCar tracks for S3 and S4. Thus, Fuji after those.
@Frederick Alonso is working on a mod of Fuji and @Nick9320 and his team have released a Glickenhaus mod that is officially licensed as I understand it.

Also Paul said they weren't going to do Snett.

Hopefully we see some IndyCar tracks early next year.

Are the devs aware of this bug that Davcam suffered in on online race? At 11:22 in his video he makes an illegal pass, penalty system instructs to give place back, he does, but system doesnt recognise this an keeps counting down till he gets a drive through, V frustrating bug!

Is there any chance that the tires last 5%/7% longer on the BTCC FWD cars? It's boring to see only BMW and Lexus in LFM...

Wait, we aren't getting Snetterton? That would be disappointing, I was hoping to have all the BTCC tracks in their laser scan glory!

But there's probably (haha) some reason he says that. On the other hand, he also hates the layout, so maybe it's personal preference :p

It would be very nice to see the complete BTCC calendar officially available plus the vehicles.
That would be a big unique selling proposition for MSG the studio and rF2.
Well, let's see.

Yes and no, there is also a serious cost involved in laserscanning and going to the other side of the world. The if if if.. if my grandmother had balls, it was my grandfather. :D

People these days should have a little more patience me thinks.
BTCC was also around for a big portion of timeframe, I think the studio really knows what they are doing and bringing forward.

The future is bright in the modding community. Personally I have been in talks with the biggest makers of content and I only see great content and collaborations between groups of great people forming at this moment (non public). United we can deliver amazing results to the community in coming months.
In the end there is no point in using elbows when it comes to fresh made content.

Hence why we try to avoid doing content from scratch with the risk of becoming official. Or when mods become official ;)

I've been testing a lot since the last update and just did an epic race against the AI and I have to say it's the best rf2 ever!
The system is absolutely stable, everything looks great, the laser scans are fantastic and the AI drives great. Kudos to all developers. Make sure to keep it up. Of course there is still something to improve but that should not be the topic now.

I just want to say THANK YOU!

Greetings Alex
