This may not be the appropriate place for this. I purchased the Q1 2023 pack and neither the track nor the car are showing in-game. They show in my Steam Inventory but when I select to look at them I get an error. The transaction has gone through Paypal. Not sure what the best route is to sort this out.

First look if you have xx number of peniding updates. Should be shown near the top of the menus, click on that and it should start the process. Then go to the Content & Settings tab, then Manage Content. Look in all the tabs, local, Store etc to see if your content is fully installed. If you see orange X, then try and install from there.
You may have to restart both rF2 and Steam to fully complete the process. Also make sure you are using the latest version of rF2 by choosing the NONE option in the beta tab(rfactor2>properties>beta>NONE

Not quite out of the woods yet. I couldn't get the track or the car to load when I installed them together. I uninstalled them and installed the track and solved that issue but when I re-installed the car the track loading screen gets to 100%, sits briefly, and then crashes out. I had spent enough time with it for one day and will try again later today after work.
I also did the file integrity piece with no success.

I notice dback a page or two that there was a period where triple screens weren't functioning. Pretty sure I was trying to run with triples/VR so I will add this to my troubleshooting process.

And I have tried multiple things, single screen, triple screen, etc. Nothing work when I choose the Honda. I have None selected on the Betas Tab. I have latest build (found a few posts up). I do see 1.04 and 1.05 files instead of just 1.05. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There should ALWAYS be two folders when you are looking at S397 DLC. The first folder is the encrypted folder and the 2nd contains files that can be edited. So 1.04(encrypted) & 1.05 would be correct if they were the two highest numbered folders

after installing you should at least try a file integrity check under porperties (right click on rfactor2 under steam).
 
Thanks davehenrie and Lars. I tried again today, single screen (1920x1080), integrity check (all files were verified), crossed fingers, rubbed stomach and patted head simultaneously, etc. Game still crashes when I try the Honda.. I thin kit is time to move to the Support forum and see what they suggest.

Very frustrating,
Last question then, Are you sure you are using the latest version of rF2? It will say v1132 at the lower right of any track loading screen. (v1131 should also work I would think). Your best bet for S397 support would be to flag @Alex Sawczuk. He will probably ask for a file called rfmini.dmp. Getting other support on Discord might be quicker.

Yes, 1132 and latest build. I will track the file down and have it ready. Much appreciated.

Edit: Post visit to the Discord page, this is apparently tied to an AMD driver issue and is being looked at. An older version of their driver resolves the issue but I am reluctant to go to the risk of reverting and any associated problems that inevitably crop up to use a $5 DLC. I will await a different solution.

Man, you guys really outdid yourselves with this physics update. From corner entry to exit, it's so much better. A lot less second guessing myself with everything. Nice job!

AI: Fixed an issue where AI tyre grip was calculated against the players tyres rather than their own, resulting in AI unable to drive on wet roads when the player had dry tyres.
Photo Mode: Allowed various extra camera controls including swingman camera, allowed use of replay key controls, added reset camera button and made camera tab normal controls assignable
Watch Monitor: Disabled replay controls when watching live action
Track Limits: Updated on screen display to show illegal non race session laps in strict mode where you go off track but don’t gain time with a purple icon.
Fixed Formula E AI starting sessions without a full battery.
Fixed content not auto downloading after purchase
