yes, triple screens. CTD is with triples and also with single screen.

Two trace logs - one single screen and one triple screen + new rfmini.dmp

Will the slow SC2018X AI issue be addressed ? Or at least acknowledged ?
It makes these awesome cars rather unusable at the moment for racing against AI.
This topic is more of a technical bug report than a feature/content item. I don't think the same folks who work on these type issues are also the ones dealing with AI pace.

Refer to the posts about it in the previous page of this thread.
On all road tracks (not tested ovals), SC2018X AI is abnormally slow in curbs.
Nothing special in term of settings. Tested with AI at 100, 105, 110%.
Using forced "Road course" car configuration.
SC2018 AI does not have this issue.

Ok TY for the feedback, I will see what I can do with SC2018X AI at Road Courses. Will not be a quick update as I have a lot going on the next few weeks. If you give me a list of tracks in a reply or PM I will look at those specifically. Anyone else wanting certain tracks to be looked at just PM me and will add them to the list.
It would be helpful to list what you can run on that track for lap times as well so I can get them in the ballpark ok.

We have put the hotfix live again with a fix for the triple screen issue people were suffering from.

  • General: Fixed not being able to pit when no boundary is set on the pitlane.
  • Track Limits: Disable pit lane detection when no boundary is set on the track.
  • Track Limits: Fixed some cases of not penalizing an illegal pit exit.
  • Graphics: Fixed IBL Water Shader not rendering in Specular Mappers
  • Fixed blurry cameras when shadows are disabled
  • Fixed missing audio samples in moddev
  • Competition System: You can now sign up to a competition if you own at least one paid car and track used in the competition, or if the competition uses a free car and track.
  • Competition System: Replaced “open cart” button with a button that will take you to the UI store basket page for any content you may need to purchase.
  • UI: Added “install missing content” button on server join error page. This will install missing/uninstalled store content.

I have been testing the StockCar 2018 Cup version at Brands Hatch after having slow Ai with the 2018X version. The Cup Ai pace is great, I'm getting really competitive opposition at 97% compared to easily beatable opposition at 120% in the 2018X. Weirdly I am slightly faster in the 2018X compared to the Cup, maybe its just easier to drive.
Something else I noticed was that you can not set how much fuel to use from the setup screen, it is greyed out. The problem is the Ai can adjust their fuel to suit the race length or qualifying stint. This means you are disadvantaged in qualifying for being too heavy and also in the race, depending on its length.

I managed to fix it myself by adding the lines below to the upgrades file under the road coarse section.

HDV=FuelRange=(5, 1, 64)
HDV=FuelSetting=29

Is their a reason they are not already included in the HDV file?
Another minor issue I spotted was that the wiper blades don't look to rotate correctly as if their axis is slightly in the wrong place. I presume this affects both version but I have mostly been using the Cup version.

Numbers are back to front Alex, main build is 10664583 and Dedi is 10664585
 
The AI still is pretty dumb rear ending me in every braking zone... Wasn't it supposedly fixed with the latest release ? Is there anymore tweaking planned regarding that issue, please ?

Give more details if you can. Cars, track, and any AI settings you might have changed (or just attach your player.json).

I'm sorry. I was running a 100% race on the official Bahrain track in night conditions using the F1 ASMG 2023 mod. 99% AI strength, 3% Aggression and 0% AI Limiter.
