Released Q1 2023 Update and Content Now Available

@Coutie OK just notice that i still have the 11 euros in my steam account which seems like i never paid steam for the product
mate help me on this i dont know what to do
its buged for sure
i have the track but not the car
and the money still remains on my steam account somehow
I had 3 different 3rd party versions of Long Beach that I had collected over the years. Make sure the track you are seeing is listed as Long Beach GP Street Circuit and v1.01

I did a quick test on GT3s, problems still needing fix:

- Porsche ABS feedback improved a bit, no jolts but the rattles are stronger comparing with other cars.
- Mercedes caster still broken, wheel goes light mid corner.

All the BTCC & GT3 cars updated EXCEPT for the BTCC BMW. Mine is still stuck at v1.17. Should be v1.19. I've un-installed that car in game and then re-installed, verified files in Steam. Can't get it downloading.

Merc ffb falloff effect still exists although, seems somewhat improved.
It's not nearly as severe as it is with the Radical SR3, thankfully.

Long Beach is missing some large green flags/signage that is visible as you go into turn 1 at the end of Shoreline, which is on the side of the track right around the 400 ft braking sign. This is also visible from the other side of the track entering into what I think is called turn 5. Both of these act as better brake markers, since they are large and high up.

The track also has some stutters going into that turn 5 area.

And, to be nitpicky, Will Power does not follow his preferred line into turn 5, which is to go out into the little area where the wall ends on the right, so he can arc better into that turn!

The AI seem a little slow out of the hairpin, at least in the IR18, I can pull a good 8-10 car lengths out of there, though they still beat my laptimes, these seem better than say IMS Road where AI is way too fast.

Other than this, LB seems good. The other content and code changes also seems to be working. Now, as it updates from say version 3.53 to version 3.55, it is deleting the 3.52/3.53 folders and their content, on GT3s. It has however still left the old 1.87 and 3.51 folders. I went ahead and manually deleted those for one car, and it doesn't seem to have broken anything.

lol, went back for the 3rd time and 33 more downloads came through including the BMW v1.19...go figure...

Your path doesn't seem right, would it not need to be:

Code:
C:\Steam\steam.exe -applaunch 365960 +profile=Karting +multiplayer +connect=ip:port +password +path="D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\bin64"

Thanks @Coutie
The path was correct this morning, it has been after the update that I can't access the server with the same command.

In fact if the server has no password it works correctly.

I will continue to investigate

Confirmed @Coutie

The +connect=:password@ip:port format doesn't work anymore.

If I unlink the password from the server parameter it works.
Case closed for me, thanks.

My guess is that you have some older rfmods with those cars still installed.

Hello,
I'm trying to play with the new content, bought in full on the Rfactor2 server and I have this! Why do I have this?

Hi guys, an ideas about this update option and how iz works Added “+VR” command line option to launch the game using VR. Added new steam option when starting game. Till this update in simcommander i cant use the option "Launch in VR"

I like the fact that GT3 are all grouped in one categories when you choose your car... now.

Might be a good idea to do the same, looking forward... for Endurance, Open Wheeler, btcc, etc... would make thing a lot cleaner...

Open wheeler? You want the IndyCar, formula pro, 1966 Eve, etc etc, all in their own group???
