Hi. I purchased this game a very long time ago around the time when it was first released and long before it came out on Steam. How would I go about downloading it ? Im not even 100% sure what email I used to purchase it originally but might be able to guess. I cant find an email to contact support so that's why im posting here. Any help would be great
You purchased the game from ISI. They no longer have any stake in rF2 as they sold it to Studio 397. S397 made the decision to use Steam for distribution. So there is no email address you can go to for redress. (the 1year grace period was extended to almost 2 years and that was like 5 years ago, ) Any normal transfer to the Steam version has expired. You can try contacting S397 on Discord(I don't use that so I don't know how) but without your original key even there you might be out of luck. I think the last few folks in your spot were advised to wait for one of the Steam sales that occur about 6 times each year and purchase a new copy.(we just had one, may have to wait for Spring)
