Pretty good idea! Which tracks are involved here? You said all tracks? I have lot of downloaded tracks so I don't think you created a profile for each on them, so perhaps in that case you put some generics ones when you didn't work on a specific track? or only update hdr profil for tracks you worked on?

In summary: more detail please! :)

    And Thanks! :)

    Hi,

as Lucky has explained above , Tosh has created a new HDR profile for each circuit called "NoAutoExposureHDR". This file should be placed in each circuit folder located in SETTING.

So if you have 50 circuits, you have to do it 50 times :)

With the installer , you run the *exe and it´s done ;)

CAUTION !!! Every time a new "NoAutoExposureHDR" will be create by Tosh, Lucky will have to update the installer. You will have to dowload and run it again.

You can find the file here in this thread : http://www.isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/9326-Why-lighting-looks-different-from-cokcpit-view

    Hope it helps

    Cheers ;)

    Hi Lucky,

I am perfectly fine that you are using my profiles with your installer, but there is no need to copyright anything from my side. Those profiles are just some numerical values in a text file, nothing special. They are free to use and there is no need of a disclaimer.

Ok, even if I find this idea pretty good, and I appreciate your work and the work of Tosch, I'm honestly kind of scared by this sentence:

"You need all the tracks on the set Abriel torrent
Otherwise you plant rFactor2 solo but not in multiplayer"

For me it means: if the track don't exist, this installer will create anyway the "Installed\locations\<name_of_track>\<version_number>" folder and will copy the hdr profile in it, so the game will think such track exist and Boom!

I think I'm up to date as I'm using the Abriel torrent. Anyway, I can miss some update some times regarding tracks, and I can't never be sure everybody involved on this new HDR installer are all synchronized at the same minute (mainly Abriel and you).

So, I'm wondering if it's difficult to add a test to see if a track directory exist before applying an HDR profile to it?

It will avoid crashes, and will allow users to eventually delete some tracks they don't want to keep without creating problems with your HDR installer :)

    Just my 2cc ;)

    Hi
I do not know because I have all the tracks.
at worst be an installer for each profile HDR :)
But then it's going to be too long.
The ideal would especially those that create or import tours know how to create a profile or HDR then it goes to the appropriate file.
By cons, if I add an uninstaller, files will be deleted (I experienced)

For the moment it is taking all tracks to date before you find a better solution.

Lastly before or after installing this other than checking the HDR box in configurs sim screen at rF2 is there something you have to do in game to have hdr on per track?

Sorry for so many questions, but I am a little confused and I do not want to mess up my install.

    Hi

    No new install, not
Install and do not overwrite the file player.plr and multiplayer.
If you overwrite With Old File, IT will crash the game
Should not keep his file "player.plr and multijoueur.ini"
    open AND change the nickname.
    View attachment 6342
In game, click DISPLAY setting choise.
    HDR profiles choise "NOAUTOEXPOSURE"
    Back
    race
    appreciated :)
    sorry translation by Google

So after you do install of your exe you are saying with any other updates make sure that "player.plr and multijoueur.ini ( i guess that is multiplayer in english) does not get overwritten?

I installed all of the torrent tracks last night then installed your hdr.exe in settings at race the only hdr profile that shows up is essington. And it shows up in some tracks other than essington. Did I do something wrong?

Overall my graphics look great since 146 release and learning to turn HDR on in the config sim screen.
I have all graphics options set to on oer high. Did not set any aa because I really do not understand how it works.
I am running avg 60 80 FPS on starting grid and 90+ everyplace else on most tracks.

Given the problems caused by additions of tracks, it is preferable to added manually.

    Sorry

Lucky06 since the installer did not work are Tosch's files for individual tracks available?
I guess it was a different HDR file for each track since you made an installer.
And could you please add the link.

    Thanks

    @ slingshot
You have selected your profile HDR once entered the game
Go to setting and Selected Profile "NoAutoExposure.hdr"
    Race then :)

I made a simple bat file that will automatically copy this file to every track folder you have and not create any new folders on it's own.

Place the bat file and the autoexposurehdr file in your rfactor2 directory and run the bat file.

If you get some new tracks run the bat file again and it'll do the same thing again.
