    you need 3dsimed to export gmt's to fbx. Then you import fbx to 3dsmax. In 3dsmax you can export to gmt by s397's plugin. You may also need their smooth plugin.

    Which Version of 3DSMax do you use?
    You have to install the rFactor Plugins (the Plugins for Max 2017 and 2021 are stored in the Folder ..\rFactor 2\Support\Tools\Plugins) to 3DSMax, to be able to edit the gmotor Materials.

    What exactly confuses you?
    What you as first have to do, is to use the "compact" Editor (open the Editor and click on "Mode").
    When i know what the Problem is, i can record a short Video, about how to use it.

    @ling OK, i maybe didn't read carefully.
    You say that you want to add Start Numbers to the Cars, but they don't appear, but different Colors do appear.
    So, if different Colors appear, i would suppose that you use the necessary WCCARBODY Material for the Skins already.
    And if that is the Case, you normally only have to paint the Numbers.
    BUT, if the Carbody is not mapped properly, you will have Problems.
    I can offer to help if you want.
    But if you want me to help you out, please open a private Conversation with me. ;)
