i had to reinstall rf2 a couple days ago,and ever since, when i changing down gears, say from 5th to 4th,it will just go into neutral,i have assigned my inputs as before,i dont have neutral assigned to any key.

never had this last month, and it doesnt always happen,is something wrong on my end or is this a feature thats been implemented,or am i now just experiencing this due to poor timing

The only thing I can think of is that you maybe double bound your downshift button to neutral. Or you're pushing up shift and down shift at the same time, that also goes to neutral.

I think he has to assign Neutral to some key or button. I have some problem related to this, but cannot remember exactly, and solved assigning neutral to a shortcut in keyboard

edit: nevermind what i said. Neutral key is empty and all working good here

Thanks for the replies,it’s very weird, never had this before,I thought I was changing down to many gears at first, but then noticed it was going straight from 5th to neutral.

Actually come to think of it,it doesn’t do it,when I just coats and change down the gears,it only does it,while I have the brake depresses while changing down

Have you double checked the driver aids, just to make sure nothing's interfering?

Do you have an H-pattern shifter to test? You also could unplug the usb cable or trying reinstall drivers.
From times to times my brake pedal stop working for no apparent reason and i just unplug and plug again the cable to windows recognize again. When im lazy and already seated, reinstaling drivers also works
