    27.99 = rfactor1
    43.99 = rfactor2 standar

    Agree with you there. It's a no brainer if you have any interest in sim racing :) You won't regret it!

    edit: Plus, they have a refund policy if you aren't satisfied, so you can't go wrong :) If you buy the 1yr version, and then want to upgrade, you need to purchase it, I don't believe there is a discount, that I'm aware of.

    Worth every penny of $85. Go online, have a few races and you will feel guilty for paying too little for this amazing sim. Only problems is that you may feel compelled to spend big bucks upgrading hardware. Worth it!

    So if I own this 1 year version and I want to upgrade it to lifetime version, I have to then purchase full price of lifetime version.
    If so, then I did wrong choice to buy 1 year version :D

    Yeah, but don't see it this way! Some people spend more on a dinner than the price of the 1yr version (even the lifetime for that matter, but that's not most people :p)...

    So 45$ for 1yr of enjoyment is still a very good deal :)

    I think of getting a second lifetime license when I'll be able to afford one later down the road. I think that rF2 gives me a lot more than I paid for really :) And that didn't happen very often for me... :)

    How long ago did you buy it? If it was not very long ago they might let you pay the difference or whatever figure they put as an upgrade to lifetime version from year version.

    I'm sorry, I don't have exact post, but hopefully, maybe, someone will back me up here. I believe they said a long time ago (when they first announced the two pricing options, before the first build was released), that there is/will be an upgrade fee to go lifetime from the year-by-year. Otherwise, the yearly fee is $15, IIRC. If nobody backs me up, then nevermind; brand me as a lunatic :p.
