Prepping for the open beta

We've posted some TORRENT files which will allow you to get an early start on the beta content 'mods' and have attempted to explain why there's two rF2 forums. So if you have a TORRENT client, please begin seeding.

Note: This is the car and track content from rF2. The rF2 executable is not yet released. We're doing this to spread out the downloads and stop you getting nasty ISP letters or from annoying our Web hosts, too. It also means that when you get the executable, you can race immediately, rather than then having to wait for the rfmod files to download.

Sorry, but without the beta install there's not much to "see" yet--just a few large-ish files . We wanted to get you all started dl'ing these early as they are rather hefty downloads...

 

Understood...I wanted to see the new structure...I am guessing that is in there ..either way..not really worried, will be downloading regardless Besides..I need another reason to leave work early today

 

All four torrents working fine for me, I'm already 100% done and seeding on one of them, other three are around 20% done. (I'm using Transmission on a Mac.)

Thanks ISI, my upload speed is awful, but none the less I'll help seed for a long time to come.

 

Should i throw the rF2 i got for the payment testing or i can keep it.

We download now and beta will be available January 02 or 03 ?

 

Any chance that rFactor2.exe will be released before Sunday?

 

That settles it. I will have to code the rFactor2.exe by myself to get a real jump ahead... How hard can it be?
