finished my work on all 3 Audi R8 GT3 liveries for the kyalami 2020 9h. ... But as allways i dont understand to get them ingame in a way that i can make them available for the community... i created every via create team car and get the regions working and so on... but as soon as i create the next car or any other audi r8 gt3 liverie (with another Car Number, name and so on) the other created car is disappearing in the ingame menue... in the file explorer all cars are visible with *.mas and so on... i dont know what i do wrong...

Is here anybody who would like to try out these three skins, than please send me your email - i would send you ll three liveries and you try to get all three working at the same time? would be nice if someone could help out! Thanks

By now I'm confident in sharing my latest work.
It took me a while to a) start it and b) coming to this point.
I think the hardest part is done now and the rest should be easy now. What's left is more or less adding sponsors and logos and adjusting small details.
You can like the paint or not, but I think that's the hardest paint out there you can (re)create.
The attention to detail is really mind-boggling. What a challange this is, at least for me.
This should also be my last paint done in Gimp. After that I want to switch to Photoshop.

Found the failure with my skin install - had to rename the *.rcd files after each skin install ... after that i could install more than one skin!

So, i have to tweak some minor things on that Kyalami 9h skins but here are some detail shots... yeah . know that the most people dont like that livery but i found it much more interesting than the normal boring Audi Sport liverys... and BTW: i love that rFactor 2 engine...

Ok lets call this a beta release as I wanted to share some of these skins rather than have them stuck on my hard drive

I like to do skin packs if possible this one is focussed on the Bathurst 12 Hour 2017, there is 30 cars all up and the models used are as follow and you need them all installed

397 Ferrari GT3
397 Audi 2018
397 Bentley 2017
397 BMW gt3
397 Mercedes
397 Porsche GT3
Enduracers Flat 6
ISI Nissan GTR GT1
(this is an update package its a very rough update to the GT1 to BOP it to the 397 GT3 cars it will never win a race but is a great field filler if you don't like it don't install it.(if someone wants to creat a better version and maybe add the new shaders to the car drop me a PM)

Installation
Is a mas install you do this by dropping the relevant mas file into the most recent folder (for example the Audi would go into folder 1.79 of your install) in each of the cars (except for the Nissan it is a normal install) they should all show up under the following category
Bathurst 12 Hour, 2017, Class A
Bathurst 12 Hour, 2017, Class B
Some of the models used are incorrect for the race but they are the best available models and once you are in game racing up mountain straight you hardly notice

As I said its a beta 0.5 version known issues or work yet to do is as follows
Icons to be added (if someone wants to do them drop me a PM)
Talent files for all cars
Talent files don't work for Nissans
Update packages for all cars to be created
Add in Aston Martin
Add in more Porsche Cup cars
Maybe improve the Darrel Lea Mclaren (it nearly killed me doing this so I may never look at it again)
Maybe add in the Lambo's
Finish the Wall and Hobson Nissans (they are holding skins for now)

Credits
I have done all of the skins except for the Teckno & Objective Mclarens so credit to the original skinner Stiggy for these, also I used Ned's Flat 6 Gartner car as a base for Wall Racing 6b so credit to Ned for this skin.

Also for the Bentleys I used the 397 skin as a base so obviously credit to 397.

I nearly started a seperate thread for skin packs ha ha but I am easy either way this thread has been around a long long time :)

Maybe one for skin releases might work ?
 
Both are for the league, so there are no plans to release them at this time.

aaaahh... this Forum is sooo (nearly) dead - believe me - every new thread with a topic near to an existing topic will make it not better... why do you want to have two threads? When i look for downloadable skins i go: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/categories/rf2-skins.18/ Are here so many posts that you have to split it? BTW: of course i would make my skins downloadable if i would know how to...
 
I would too,
but the last and first time I wanted to share a skin people told me it don't work and even after attempting a fix it didn't work so I gave up :D
