how are you guys painting the darkside of the car? every showroom I could find are all dark on one side?? and also how can you closer to get that perfect pixel to pixel lineup over parts?

Hello, most of the time the cars have the same graphics on the right side as on the left side, so i paint just the left side and mirror the graphics when finished to the right side... most of the pixel by pixel alignemnt is done via the grid (first layer in photoshop/Gimp) and then quality control ingame and so on... you can go closer with the mouse - right mouse button and push or pull the mouse
 
well, I spent the day finishing it off and the last 2hrs getting PO'd beyond believe trying to work out how to save the friggin thing to share. Why is EVERYTHING in RF2 such a PITA. :angry face: and I am still none the wiser. and frankly now could not be bothered with it.

I took the whole working cars folder zipped it up, installed on a different OS RF2 install to test and it doesn't show up In the list

I'd be happy to do an alternate with the Pirelli sponsors as it is in real life, but I 'd settle for knowing how to save the stupid things to work elsewhere.

sorry my rant but yer kinda frustrated now.

this is what I had and worked on my editing install and copied straight into my sim install and it doesn't work.

Did you created a virtual Ride folder (with RCD file)? You need this that your skin will be displayed in the selektion menue.
And please name it "alt_IceBreakeB12H..." without "_" between the name!
