Possible to send admin commands (ex.: /SETMASS) from Plugin?

As per subject.

Is it possible from a plugin to send any /X (admin) commands like /SETMASS or /KICK etc?
I found this old discussion which mentions using UI events to send keystrokes to the dedicated server window:

but it doesn't seem a very robust solution to me.
