Just ran a handful of laps with the USF2000 and am quite pleased with the initial WIP quality of it. The textures are WIP but the colors are good, given the location of the circuit, and the details already in place contribute to a good atmosphere. The road texture is looking good already and the detailed portions with variations are also quite satisfying. Lastly, it is quite nice how smooth the road feels so the FFB portrays the car well and you can feel it - unlike some tracks where the resolution is low -, and visually the corners are also smooth without sharply-angled lines - as seen on conversions or Silverstone. I must say, wish you could also continue your work on Toronto!
No longer a rumour. Officially on the 2018 schedule now http://katu.com/news/local/indycar-race-series-coming-to-portland-next-year.
I have some updates in the works. But no time frame. Things I will do for sure: New curbs and textures, new skybox, new grass texture, make road texture a bit lighter. Things I'd like to do: 3D trees(I did try this, but the performance was really bad), re-texture the building near the drag strip, better burn out textures for drag strip start area, maybe a 2018 race layout with more ads, new tirewalls(performance issues here though), more buildings in the paddock area.
Some FPS improvement might be good as well. On my machine it runs not as it should, I think. But at all the track does looking really good.
Hi, thanks for adding this track Would it be possible to require headlights while driving in dark? Thanks!
