I've been working on this for a couple of months and I thought I'd show it off. I would like to release a beta in the next couple of weeks, but I have to get the performance right before that happens.

This is scratch built, with all the new re-profiled corners and curbs. It will include two layouts at first, chicane and no chicane, maybe I'll make the motocross track work, but I don't know if the little ATV will be very fun on it. I also might include the drag strip, but again, I don't know if it would be fun or even worth the time to do it.

Here are some pictures, reminder, they are work in progress:
Finish line looking down at T1, will be tricky with the setting sun.

The chicane, or festival curves. One of the best overtaking spots on the track.

The new turn 8. Wide entrance, to narrow exit. Good place to try and pass, but also a good place to do an over under defense.

The back "straight".

Last section. The other really good overtaking area, but the corner is pretty fast in modern open wheel cars, but you can try to draft down the straight and make something happen. Also notice the train :).

Drag strip/front stretch at night. Lights will need to be brighter.

The motocross track. Still undecided if I want to make it into a layout.

So far, we've only done small field races, but it's been pretty fun. It's also a fun track to hot lap at, because it's small and you can push pretty hard.

The BT20 can go on the motocross track. Good luck with the track, Alex. By the way, regarding the night lighting picture, is it a WIP thing or is there some setting so the light actually impacts the scenery and lights the area?

You just set what you want lit in the .scn file.

I went there once around 95 or 96 for the Champcar event. They also had the NATCC touring cars running with them. fun weekend. Got rained on several times that weekend. Don't forget to include the smell of expensive Cigars behind the grandstands..

It's also been rumoured that they're going back next year, so that was another reason I picked the track.

I live within driving distance of that track now I grew up there I could hear him race at night.I'm so happy that somebody's making the PIR for R factor 2 I'm excited And thank you for your time and effort.I'm so happy

I was there in 98 and then in 2001 and 2007. I was fortunate enough to have press credentials in 2007 but got rained on in 2001 and 2007. Very looking forward to being able to race here again!
