[REL] Porsche Cayman GT4 Manthey MR V3.01.

the windshield wipers don't remove the drops with every sweep and I don't see the driver's hands on the steering wheel. the sound of the engine is awesome and otherwise awesome modi
 
Awesome update!

I'm not sure what "Door mirror fix" means, but I still can't adjust the door mirrors independently. Other than that, fantastic job!

There was stretching on the mirrors. About the wiping effect, I tried to solve it but moddev crashed a few times while editing the wipe values. I'm still learning everyday so maybe I'm doing something wrong. If someone can help with this, very welcome.

Yeah we found an old steering ANM file got in the new package for whatever reason. The ANM file is grabbing the wrong polygons at the moment. The correct ANM was used on my patreon test car and that was all fine. So it will be added tomorrow or day after in hotfix.

Meanwhile I added a bit more shadow under the car and I fixed a small mesh issue on the hood cam as well.

As you can see this is all fine with the correct files.

So yes a hotfix is coming and will solve all aside of wiping effect.

There seems to be something wrong with the rain on the windscreen. Seems every wipe brings more water to the windscreen

Problem is my moddev crashes everytime I edit the wiping values. If someone can help or send me the sync files, muchas gracias.

Hotfix is on steam meanwhile, only issue is the wiping effect.

@Frederick Alonso Thank you for this great mod. The sounds and feel are superb. Graphically great looking too.

I don't know if I am the only one to experience this in VR, when I race the cars (only raced at Nürburgring) I get slight dark flashes across the lens and all the vehicles appear too dark. This only happens with this vehicle so I know it is not a hardware fault. It happened on both the new versions of the car. Initially I thought it may have been the driver model being quirked causing weird issues but now with the driver arm/hand fixed it still occurs.

In VR I do need to push the view right back as the 0/0 seating position is far too close to the steering wheel, so not sure if that has something to do with it?

Are you using OpenXR and the OpenXR Toolkit? If so, try to:
- update to the most recent versions; or
- disable the Toolkit.
I was experiencing this same problem (but it wasn't only with the Cayman, it was other cars too - but not all).
 
Get short black blinks in VR on my G2 too - only in this car - like something is blocking the sight just for a millisecond - tried all the seat movements but nothing worked - almost every 2 seconds I get black flash. All other cars incl. mod cars don`t have those flicker

I get it in this car and S397's Porsche Cup car with G1.

When I put track with water I can not see spray water on cars in front of me, but I can see in mirrors or replay. I didn't test with rain but it's strange. Also I Have the issue with the wiping effect as you know.
Then, I tested a bit the car on Interlagos and found some AI's tip over easily in some cuurbs, it seems an issue with the AI physics. And finally some cars doing 1:34 pace while I was doing 1:40. That pace is unreal for a GT4

Finally made some practice laps on this car
I really like the job done for the latest update, physics and graphics looks really well! Also sounds is amazing, the engine feels very good with that sounds and the sense of immersion is on the high level.
Thanks for this car, it’s really amazing to drive, looking forward to the other cars by you!
 
Right, the car is amazing, thanks for your work. Just one thing, when the tires go over the piano or sausages, you hardly hear that deep bass sound bouncing off the tire.
I have seen for example that the 2007 Porsche Cup Series does have that wonderful sound, although the official rf2 porsches have that effect that is still better heard.

You mean the rumble sound? It is there but let's not forget the GT4 spring has a higher range then a typical cup car. So the FX of bumping is way less audible.
