Legal? Why wouldn't they be? Looking at the pics of the other mods the models structure or degree of quality look similar so I'd say there done by the same person. Any good? Well they are V 0.1. A W.I.P. I'd guess some feedback would be appreciated. [Edit] Odd thing. Looking at the Sauber C9, It looks more like the C11with the C9 rear wing. The body is or looks more like the C11 The Porsche doesn't look to flash in game. Looks like a lot of the GMT settings are wrong. The Spec is to strong or something. Either way it doesn't look good.
Ok, thanks! I will test it later. Maybe the cars are an alternative before we have another Prototype C cars.
They probably aren't I call either Turn10 or VirtuaLM... Permission certainly not obtained. EDIT: Looked at the screenshots... Too many polygons to be VirtuaLM, so it's Turn10 99% certain.
I have tested it - and with all respect to the modder(s): These cars are really not good. I´ll go back to the Mazda
Of course they aren't, that's why these mods are just 0.1 version. They do not even have shadows!! I have used lod0 turn10 models, and have made these cars just to start learning car modding. Porsche 962 is my sandbox for turbo learning. Anyway, any feedback on what could be improved will be appreciated.
Hi LeStrat! Sorry that I criticized your work. I'm not a modder, but here are so many talented guys who can certainly help you to improve the cars.

this site is not real lots of mods from this forum and about 5-6 are mine and the F40 I converted from NFS and must have been downloaded from the servers nothing really to post in a game development forum there are no credits on any of the mods nice to list them.
I've done some laps in Silverstone and Sebring with the 962. For a 0.1 version this car is awesome. The physics are very detailed and clear not to weak and not to strong. I love the turbo lag/punch and the sound. In terms of physics IMHO this car is release ready. While loading the car options screen I get this errror "error loading mesh file PG57_EXPO.gmt" If you drive with more AI cars there is a sound bug. I can hear the opponent engines all over the track ( to loud). Feedback for model is to early @ this point. Not sure but I think they have a ready model for the 962 but are not ready with the physics. Merge the MAK model with your physics ? alex
There seem to be allready parts included from MAK mazda actually, porsche uses tires/rims or atleast tires from mazda.
I'm confused. This is exactly the announced car set from MAK or ? Mazda, Porsche, Mercedes. Is this test baloon or what ?
Aha ^-^ In any case the physics from the 962 are fine. Hope MAK will update soon there mod with a 962 and the Mercedes. I love these old beasts
Hmmm, interesting. I have never given permission for our content to be used in this. In addition to that, I do not like the fact that our content is being placed in a mod with converted content from other games. We do not support converted content from EA, Codemasters and any other developer games so I hope the community doesn't support these. If you want a real Porsche 962C experience, wait for ours to come out soon or wait for VLM's.
