    I thank you for your work,the physics may not be accurate,but the car looks beautiful and its fun to drive.
    It would certainly be nice if a physics guy could help you so that the community would have a more accurate representation of this car.

    Maybe [ODS]Arnaud from the fantastic GTPC mod can give you some guidance on the matter. The group did a superb job with the physics of the whole car field, but particularly with the Porsche 930, which may have some similarities with your car. Do you want me to ask him for help?

    i like the GTPC mod but arnaud's porsche slips too much, it needs more grip.

    I think the RSR 74 is very good as it is!
    arnaud's Porsche with a little more grip would be a bomb!!

    I would question involvement and endorsement of mods that are not scratch made, or conversions without permissions.

    @Sderenno
    I copy here a big problem reported by friends
    ------

    The issue we have found with the car is the game drops out of real time and goes into slow motion if there are too many cars loaded. The issue is worse on some tracks than others.
    What I mean by this, your car can slow down and then you get rear ended from the car behind you. It can happen even if you got very good frames rates.
    You can test this offline at Silverstone with 20 AI cars. If you press Ctrl C on your keyboard when on track you will see a purple graph top right. If this bar gets to 100% in length the game is dropping out of real time.
    The problem has not shown up in our online fun test races as we not had over 20 cars, but our concern is, if this league gets popular and start drawing in over 20 drivers we could start facing problems and think it's best if we find another fun car with out the problem.
    We do not know why it happens with this car and not other cars.
    It is a shame, as it is a fun car to drive and looks great too.

    Some videos below showing the problems. Keep an eye on the purple bar, top right.

    The CPU is being swamped and not keeping up. Either upgrade hardware or reduce the load via graphics reduction and car count reduction.

    I think it's something else rather than hardware. I'm getting the same results with latest gen PC. No other mod in my list does this. It would be great if we could get a fix for this. If anyone has any ideas that would be great.

    Maybe it's coming from the gen file.

    meshfile=por_rsr73_chassis_loda.gmt colltarget=false hattarget=false lodin=(0.00) lodout=(30.0) ShadowCaster=(True, Solid)
    meshfile=por_rsr73_chassis_lodd.gmt render=false colltarget=false hattarget=false shadowobject=(true, solid, 64, 64,por_rsr74_undershadow.dds) lodin=(0.0) lodout=(200.0)

    I'm not sure the second line is needed as there is already ShadowCaster=True on the first line.

    @Mauro Can you please post the Hardware Configuration of the Machines where the Problem is happening?
    I tried to reproduce it with 26 AI Cars on Silverstone GT, but the Problem didn't show up.
    The purple Bar goes to 3/4 at Start/Finish, but i guess that there, the Pitbuilding is the Reason.
    On the Rest of the Track the Bar is at around 1/3.
    So i also would suppose a Hardware Problem and agree to what @davehenrie has said before already.

    -------

    Tested with 3 PC's
    DeeCees = i7-6700 16GB ram GTX 1070
    Fergy = i5-10400, RTX 2060 Super and 16GB of RAM
    Mine = i5-4670K, GTX 770OC and 8GB RAM

    The above tests were done in single player.
    Today we been doing some tests with 25 AI cars on the server to see if the lag is still there. The good news I can say in this test there was no lag for both Me and Deeecee The admins are discussing if the league might still go ahead with the car. At this point of time, I'm not sure what is happening on Sunday, it might be an other fun race. I'm not the boss.

    EDIT. another test by marmagas:
    It happens in my pc too but only offline,when i joined with 3 others in the server everything was good
    i5-3570k 16gb ram 1080ti

    @Mauro The Videos that you have posted above, are they from the Server from online Sessions?
    As said, i couldn't reproduce it on Silverstone GT, offline with 26 AI.

    In offline, your CPU has to calculate the physics of all the cars (yours and AIs)
    In online, the server calculates the physics of the AIs
    The load of the CPU is bigger in offline than in online (usually).

    Obviously i can't guarantee that you're not going to have problems in your league, but my experience administrating servers for leagues says that if you don't have CPU spikes, and the server neither, in online you shouldn't have problems (related to CPU).
    What it's very important is to check the load of every core of the CPU (not the load of the whole CPU).

    You have to check this graph
    upload_2021-3-26_19-25-35.png

    Not this one
    upload_2021-3-26_19-25-51.png

    Note: I've taken the images from the Internet to show which one is the good graph. Ignore the data of the graphs

    "I had the same problems, slow motion and a huge pile up. i7-9700KF 1050ti 16gb"

    In any case Seems that this mod has something wrong....
