Released Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (2018) is now available!

tire pressure in rF2: I personally interpret it this way: the default temperature value, is nothing more than an intermediate value, between the minimum and the maximum allowed, that is, in many cases it is not the optimal one, and in some cases, the right one is a bit lower, then ... it's not that in all cars, deflating tires to idle you have an improvement, in my opinion this is a bit like a hasty conclusion that has spread in the forums and can confuse the less experienced simdrivers.
in practice it is not a trick that remedies an error in rF2.

I say this courteously

(written words do not have a tone and can be misunderstood)

hm.. .what is with FFB ? Everybody satisfied with the overall feeling ?
I have to turn up minimum to >5% to feel what the front is doing. That is not necessary with the other cars.
This car overall feels a bit to heavy, clumsy and tailhappy. *bouncebouncebounce

This car isn’t easy to drive but as I wrote before
- move the braking bias forward
- with the braking forward you can increase braking pressure over 90% .
- reduce Camber to 4.2/3.2
- try ARB 3/3 instead of 3/6
- decreases a little tire pressure( just little).
Said this, some times you lose the rear even with this setup... I’m agree with you that this car loves cold tires which is strange behavior.

@GTClub_wajdi even with the best setup the car is really challenging
it oversteer under throtle easily and breaking techniques like tapping your foot under breaking to to lock the tires are
not always working
really difficult car
snap oversteer is a bit of nightmare sometimes

Hehe the PoCup. Actually the master school in the GT segment. I am also fighting against the car instead of fighting for positions. At some point I'll probably find out how it works .. But I like the box.

I had the same issues until I tweaked the rear ARB, overall camber, tire pressures and the preload set to the max. It became relatively easy to to drive the car so that I could even trailbrake into the corners and feed in the throttle relatively easy on corner exit. Not much else was needed to get it from a deathtrap to a smoothely balanced car. I have no idea who made the default setup but it feels like a troll atempt where someone just tried to break the car. :D

Oh, and don't forget to increase the break preassure.

The Cup Carrera are really hard to drive for me.
I've tried all sorts of different setups.
Result the cars are just difficult to vote.
I personally think the mod is very difficult.
I would have preferred the Carreras to be a little easier to master and to tune.
I see the real cars every year at the Norisring and the Sachsenring.
I have to say that the braking point in front of the respective corners is much later in the real cars, real and deeper into the curve.
Compared to the Norisring brake the real at about 100-110 m in the mod I have to slow down at 130-150m otherwise that will not work.
At all the brake is grotty bad. Sometimes you slow down and in the end, almost nothing happens. (Fanatec CSP3)
The default of this mod is not real.
Camber angles of 5.0 degrees and more do not drive them, we demanded a maximum of 4.2 degrees at the Norisring.
Why do you make the mod so hard, you can find it easy no more fun and leaves the left.
But ne allround attitude that fits almost everywhere as with the other mod cars.
More balanced for us Virtualartists, in real it may be harder but it has to be that way.
No ABS or it is suppressed ..., let it like the other Mod Cars and everyone can decide, I turn it on or ... pure.
Otherwise Famose Cars, world-class graphics, best sound of all.

I know, I will move with my opinion nothing.
You do what you think.
I think only of the Endurance Flat 6 mod, I always liked to drive until they made the unbearable difficult.
I have not been driving since.

Makes it easier:
Better brakes
very good basic vote
ABS on / off as desired
Mobile for fun.

The thing is, that the car has no ABS in the most series that it is used, atleast not to my knowledge. There will be a VLN version, that might give that option in the future and maybe they will tweak the default setup and offer safe and racey versions, but I am pretty sure a skilled driver can break at the 100m mark at Norisring easily with the sim Cup car version. I think it's a myth to believe that we hobby sim racers just hop into the car and break at the 100m mark as the pro drivers in RL. Atleast I wouldn't expect that from myself.

@ hitm4k3r
that poor troll .... his deception didn't last long !!

@ Luprosx
probably moving the keyboard, I had inadvertently activated the anti-lock system for the brakes and the car braked little or nothing

Well it's surprises me all the people asking for the Cup car to be made easier!

Please don't make it easier! I love it, it's my favorite car in rF2 atm.

As is, its brilliant and I absolutely love the challenge and the constant corrections needed.

I wonder if the people struggling ever drive other cars than GT3?

@2ndLastJedi we struggle cause we learn it
brake power setting is a tip maybe not to lock tires under heavy breaking and throttle after exiting the corner is a nighmare if never played such a challenging car
i dont like GT3

its not difficult to drive, it feels just not good oob, way to much jumping over curbs, really bad brakes etc.

In every other S397 car i get a "dingrightleftding" in the wheel when the brakes are locking, but not in this car. I see smoke in the mirror, thats it. And i have to reduce FFB Strength to 75% to not think i am driving a (bit to fast) truck.
Yes, the car can be fun as you can see here, but not with the default setup.
