As part of our effort to find and fix all causes that trigger freezes, stutters and other problems related to not running in real-time, we have done a lot of optimizations and added extra diagnostics logging. Most of that information, as well as the place to report issues, is in this thread: https://forum.studio-397.com/index....f-realtime-physics-freezes-public-test.62687/
Now one thing that we've discovered is that there are a couple of plugins that keep showing up in our logs as the cause of rFactor 2 getting slowed down.
If you are a user of rFactor 2, we highly recommend you disable or even uninstall these plugins.
If you are a developer of one of these plugins, feel free to contact us (me) in a private conversation on this forum, so we can explain to you our findings and discuss possible fixes.
We will maintain this list over time.

Plugins to uninstall:
- project_rf2.dll - which seems to be part of a telemetry solution described here https://docs.google.com/document/d/1CO2-NOsKSywzBYTDDrsyOsZkNQqXAMfhJOUeZm1yejw/edit#
- SRT_Adapter_x64.dll or SRT_Adapter_x86.dll - part of Sim Racing Tools found here http://www.simracingtools.com/
- vTPro2018-IsiPluginV2x64.dll - we don't know where this plugin comes from but it sometimes crashes rF2 when joining a server (if you wrote it, contact us)
