can we have a historic update please and some of this mosport 67 stuff....please
The historic cars here are epic, the historic circuits are even more epic. It's a completely different style of racing. Indeed it's a genre of sim racing that no one else really touches and ISI is only a couple of pieces away from being king of historic content IMO.
On another note, it's amazing how close CTMP is to its original design. One of the few circuits that hasn't been completely tamed.
Edit: I know Tim has some historic Indy car stuff which would be really fun to try.
I also want more historic content.

Yip... I`m definitely up for more historic/vintage content. The more the better.
This and an update of the 60's formula cars would be nice!
no no no more modern high downforce types please ISI.
Yes please ISI
Just the touring cars will do, please make it happen ISI
I don't write much in these forums but I would agree with the OP. rFactor2 should create more vintage racing mods.
From what I've read on other sites, rF2 vintage Formula open-wheel cars are the best mods on any platform. Even the Howstons are still one of the most challenging and rewarding mods out there. rF2 seems to be the only ones who can create these types of mods. I think they should put more into creating mods from the 1960's thru the 1980's.
I bet/wish Eagle is not far away.
And I remember there was a plan in ISI to cover all decades, what happened to the 70s and 80s cars?
rF2 historic vehicles are not only better than those in other sims, they are also better than ISI's modern vehicles but not because quality but because historic vehicles simply translate better to sim racing because suspension movement, h-shifter immersion and constant battle for grip and balance.
Yes off course yes! agreed +1000, and update of existing F1-F2-F3 will be great (E.g. random opacity of F3 windshield is painful), thanks ISI, more vintage!
Until there is a decent clutch simulation, what's the point? Other sims have a very good clutch simulation and and are better platforms for vintage racing. In rf2 you can LFB a 60's formula race car and never use the clutch- that is unacceptable and makes driving them no more than a semi sim experience.
Isi has a great platform for modern autoclutch cars, so they need to stick with what they are good at. I'd rather see them fix the cars they have and put on the back burner any cars that actually use the clutch until the company figures it out. I'd like to see more modern autoclutch cars.
agreed, more ISI tracks for historic, ISI/rf2 do these better than anyone else, there's not enough to run a series
(x4 is total minimum)
-releasing a car & a track or two creates initial excitement but it's short lived
x4 to 5 tracks minimum will keep the interest/promote leagues which could attract more quality modding interest
x2 (with monza spa&monaco makes 5)more historic tracks + x3 more ovals with road configs (with Indiapolis would make 4 for the dw12 & forthcoming stock cars) + oval road configs are very versatile & can be used for other series.
ISI need some MEGA help in the track dept. to turn things around ( there's a stack of cars already ),
stop "bitting & bobbing" sadly quality modders are not taking the bait
+ over 9.000 on more Glorious Historic Content.
More historic sports cars would be welcome.
As would Mosport. VERY welcome.
To me, not having a realistic clutch is just compensation for not feeling gravitational forces.
All I really want in life is an Alpine Renault a110
+1 for historic updates
i bought rF2 only for historic contents
