Regarding online racing. Check out 'Race2Play'. No demolition derby's there, rules to go racing, histories kept, great community. rF2 races (amongst many other Sims) held regularly during the whole week at various times. Forget the public servers, haven't been on one for....years.

But tbh...it`s not free, you have to pay min. 95$ per year, or 7.99$ per Month. If you want to start as a Guest Member, at least it`s not possible, because most of the Races i have found, are restricted to Guest Member wich have participated min. 3-4 Races, or you sign a Member Subscription. The most (for me) annoying point, you can`t search on r2p for Races with Min Guest Rank: 0, you have to go through all Events, to find a very rare Rank 0 Event. At least, i couldn`t find one.

Juergen - there is a lot of incorrect misinformation in your post.

- You can race for free forever.

- Yes, you can be a paying member and get extra privileges. I have been a paying member since 2008, but that is my choice for what I want to get out of it.

- There are NO races restricted to Member only.

- Very few races have a minimum rank - but where there is one that is there for a reason - you have to show you can race properly, they don't stand for 'Public Server' crash fest drivers or those disregarding the racing line etc etc. So sure, you may have to take part in a few races to obtain a rank to enter the more prestigious events, but I myself run events through R2P where there is no rank restriction.

- Regarding all races being rank restricted - Check this page out (http://www.race2play.com/schedule/upcoming_events?s[]=19) - all the upcoming rF2 events filtered. Just click on an event....e.g. 6 hours Silverstone (http://www.race2play.com/schedule/show_event/17668) - that has a minimum rank requirement of 4 (note Members don't have to have that rank). But check out almost all others - eg. (http://www.race2play.com/schedule/show_event/17936) - no rank restriction listed = not required. 95 % of events will be like that.

Guest membership is completely free. To go racing you don't need any more than that.

OK, then i was unlucky and just picked the Events, where a min. Rank is required. I didn`t said/meant, that Membership is required. It was just about the min. Rank, wich you could pass only, if you`re a Member Apologies, if it wasn`t clear...
