    So I've been doing this thing during practice where instead of just pressing Esc and getting a new car after a crash, I have to limp it to the pits as a kind of punishment.

    I've noticed that my car isn't getting fully repaired (for example steering geometry), although the overlay will say "DAMAGE: N/A"

    Am I doing something wrong or is the game simulating what can and can't be fixed during a pit stop?

    Cheers

    Wich car/mod? Because it depends on the mod settings, wich parts are repaired and wich not...

    Depends on mod what damage is repaired and which not.
    Most mods dont have such thing as a 100% fix.

    Yes but which setting exactly?

    The only one which makes sense for me to influence such behaviour is:

    Damage=2 // number of options to fix damage (0=none, 1=bodywork, 2=bodywork+suspension); default=1

    But to be honest i never saw a mod where this value wasn't "2"

    Hmm I'd imagine the rest of the options should be in the damage.ini files, I'm not sure you can make it be fully repaired, but something similar should be possible as you can control how much damage it takes, the forces etc. I think some mods (like URD) are way too sensitive with damage on 100% in game

    Suspension damage in just about any Formula open wheeler is usually a race ending event. About the only type of racing where a full repair could be made would be Endurance racing where well funded teams like Audi learned to replace entire subsections rather than try to fix just a certain part. It would make sense, that the mod makers do not allow full recovery if an open wheeler is damaged.

    Sorry, i`m not really familar with OW`s, wich mod precisely?

    //Edit: if it`s the Formula2_2012, than its clear, why the repair wasnt done...
    Value "1" means, only bodywork will be repaired.
