I've just backed the Pimax 8K VR Headset on kickstarter as for me it will hopefully be the first next gen headset to improve on the only negatives I find with the rift, those being low resolution and a limited FOV. The Pimax headset is offering 200 degree FOV and I was wondering how rF2 currently sets the FOV for the Rift and Vive, is it a config file or an automatic process? Hopefully by the time I receive it in a few months steam will have supported it and I'll be able to enjoy it fully. Just hope it actually works as well as the makers think it will.
Considering a 4k screen is barely supportable by a GTX 1080, I'm kind of wondering what fps you're willing to settle for?
How many hZ will this run at ? This will give oculus & vive a push to release next gen if the pimax is any good EDIT : just watched vid -yes 90hz gosh this could be a hit
