Evening All, I am Shaun Clarke, some of you might know my work from AC, the Ginetta G55, Seat Leon Eurocup and TCR, and I have joined the RF2 Train, and I would like to look at bringing these to RF2. Now I taught myself (took a while) AC Physics, so is there anybody helpful that could point me in the right direction to understand and learn RF2 physics? Regards Shaun
This will be a longer process , but you can start with downloading the physics spreadsheet made by michael borda, with that you can generate the needed files, after entering the values from the car that you want to bring into the game. Get it here https://docs.studio-397.com/develop...Physics+Calculator+V0.33+FISI+2012+PUBLIC.ods To use it, you also have to download libre office And for other needed things like tires, you can get more info here: https://docs.studio-397.com/developers-guide/cars/car-physics and also here (older info) https://www.studio-397.com/modding-resources/
Well that was quick Shaun, you were only discussing this yesterday. Another place you can try for info is the rF2 discord channel: https://discord.gg/CruX93K Many people to answer questions etc. Welcome and looking forward to your work.
Good to have you onboard Shaun ! This resource is not to be missed : rF2 Online-Tools by Chris (redapg) http://meetme.bplaced.net/rF2_onlineTools/
Thank you all for your warm welcome, and also pointing me in the right direction, very much appreciated. Shaun
Welcome to rF2 Shaun Awesome news your going to bring your mods to rF2....The Ginetta was one of my favourite mods in AC. You've made an old man very happy today Thank you!
