Please update this base-content.
It is still the best classic content compared to other games..
Now driving in the rain with spray it looks outdated but drivingwise it’s superb.
In VR it’s so involving and it doesn’t take a lot of resources.
I can get it to full resolution in the G2 headset and have some spare headroom.
So there is room to put some extra love for this tracks, ie working tracklights and buildings perhaps..
Another GT3 , or touringcar no please
Just update the classics
 
I absolutely agree, after playing AMS2's '71 Monza along with the F1's of that era, I came back to rF2 and I feel that S397 are sitting on an absolute gem in the hisiotric content ISI handed over to them. The Sparks, Eves, Brabhams along with Brianza, Monaco & Spa just need polishing on the graphical side of things.
 
I bought rf2 only for this type of contents
ISI work on classic cars and tracks was a masterpiece

Unfortunately it's clear that S397 have other plan for the sim development
 
So if Studio397 is hiring people, they should hire the people who did the classics on RFactor 2.
If you look at the level of detail in the tracks, like telephone poles, haybales, cows, advertising, roadsigns,
the list goes on and on.
It gives such an immersion , and also sensation of speed, that it never bores nomatter how many laps you drive..
I love modern LeMans, Spa, Sebring but driving the classics on classic tracks is awesome.
They should make a classic pack, update the already existing tracks and release classic Zandvoort.
Instant buy, some pick-up races on a 397-server.
Some people just wanna race but not in this competition form, and not with all the modern cars.
