I was one of those with the 9series black screen issues from previous versions. V0.98 already made it better. Did lots of testing since the 1.0 release with no crashes. Used full grid and did 2x 4H races in different classes. Beside the missing black screens, it´s just an awesome built track. Everything looks so much detailed, changing weather/time conditions make it even more immersive. Performance wise i get 110-140fps on triples... Putting so much work into this and giving it to us for free is so sort of nice. I mean I´m just a stupid user but guys like you really are the spirit of simracing, especially in rf2. Thank you very much!
Thanks for your kind words, but realistically speaking it's a number of steps below of ISI standards. As being my first track, I'm confident that I can reach those guys' level at next track, maybe. Thank you very much and thanks for testing. Good news. I've installed v.0.98 again just for check and it crashed, so v.1.00 has truly a different behavior. Let's wait for more feedback. Good indicators so far, a friend of mine has tested with a 980ti and no errors (v.98 was crashing for him too).
2 hours with 20 URD EGT cars on this track yielded no crashes today. I did have a GPU driver crash with the first release of this track, so early indications do look positive.
Impressive work! Probably the best RF2 circuit I ever tried (even if my RF2 experience is limited). It shows potential of this sim. No crash with GTX970 and V1.0 Oh sorry, yes one crash: when I intended to take the "Esses de la Forêt" instead turning right at "la Chapelle", I crashed into an invisible wall I hope someday.....
Thanks for feedback guys. I'm glad the crashes seem to be fixed. Yeap, I put that invisible wall but there're three La Sarthe curves further that. When all 29 remaining be ready I'll remove the glass wall for sure.
Just tried this version out, frame rates are awesome for how nice and detailed the track is, very impressive Keep up the good work
Thanks Nascar, welcome. Just to keep up, I'm in a sort of holidays for a while, trying to have fun driving rF2 and Automobilista. As soon as possible I get back to modelling new tracks now with experience enough to create better material.
Tried again Bugatti under rain : reflections are awesome and feel is really close to reality. Wonderfull track. FPS is high even with all details activated and triple screen. Just the way the road rubbers is a bit strange on the dry : but I know it's difficult to masterize under 3dsmax. Thanks a lot for this track. I go on the real track for a trackday in November! I let you know if I make a nice lap
Hello! Love the work you have done to recreate the Bugatti Circuit and have had a great time using it in rF2! With Endurance Series for rFactor 2 coming out recently, I was wondering how far out the full Le Mans Circuit de la Sarthe is from being downloadable. Keep up the great work!
So I was driving this gorgeous track again, fantastic really. Christmas being on its way i was thinking if there are any news or updates for La Sarthe or whatever is coming next
He wrote something in the support area because of DX11 questions. He also stated that he had some month of due to becoming a father, but wanted to get Le Mans going. Waiting for DX11 feedback though.
