When I go into the showroom in rFactor 2, the semitransparent panel on the right of the screen (with headings such ‘Upgrades’, ‘Loose Skin Directory’, and ‘Technical Data’) isn’t there. I initially thought that you just had to press ENTER, but ,when I do so, the screen goes grey for a second and then showroom reappears, seemingly the only difference being that the button on the bottom left of the screen to leave the showroom has disappeared. If I press ENTER again, the same thing happens, only now the button reappears.

Now, I’m almost certainly just being an airhead here, but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to get that bloody panel up. Do I have to bind the button or something?

Thanks for any help in advance.

You don't say which UI you are using (new beta or default) but I'll assume the default.
Enter is the correct key to use.
Try the basic things first like try different cars and restart computer.

If that doesn't work then close rF2 and Steam.
Rename the UIData folder found here
    ..\Steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\Core\UIData
    to something different, eg "BACKUP_UIData"

Start Steam, in the Steam Library right click rFactor 2
    select Properties,
    select Local Files tab,
select Verify Integrity of Game Files.

That should download a new UIData folder and contents.
    Start rF2 and test.
If that fixed the problem you can delete the UIData folder you renamed.

I tried what you suggested, but unfortunately the same thing happened, no panel. By the way, yes I am using the default UI right now.

    EDIT: Never mind, issue solved.
