Packages folder

    A quick question which should be very easy to answer for you guys with more experience of rF2.

    When a file is dropped in the packages folder, then installed, can the file then be removed from the packages folder?

    i.e should the packages folder be empty at all times unless you are just about to install some additions

    You need to keep them in there to be able to manage your content.
    Yes you could remove them but would then not be able to uninstall them via mod/package manager.

    Yes you can safely delete them after installing, no problem with uninstalling later.
    You can even do it while launcher is running.
    Above post is incorrect.

    Yes.
    If you delete the packages after install them, you can use and uninstall them. But you can't reinstall again
