After the recent update the Open Composite bypassing of Steam VR is no longer working.
I guess it's the addition of the Steam VR launch option as that works, but the ability to launch via the RF Setting Widget program is no longer working. Any ideas?

A solution: +VR in the launch options seems to have worked, it once again bypasses Steam VR. Also, the RF2 Settings Widget has been updated to now work with the new rF2 version.

Bit of a bump here - I'm having the same issue (using the OpenComposite/Open XR launcher for my Reverb G2), and upon launching rFactor2, it refuses to bypass SteamVR and launch into OpenXR. The rF2 exe does not show up within my apps list either. I've tried adding the +VR launch code to no avail.
