I would expect closed beta testing to start in a month, its up to Petros exactly when but ill keep pushing for the eta.
Hey all. Today we are happy to show off more progress of the 1991 Mazda 787B model which will be featured in the Classic Cars mod. The 1991 Mazda 787B is an iconic model of the very car that won the 1991 24 hour lemans race, the only Japanese car and the only rotary engine car to do so. The model was made by Ionut Nicolaescu and updated by Rico Hotteswitzcsh who also modeled the interior. The livery is painted by Nigel Phelan who has been working tirelessly on recreating this iconic livery. We would like to further report to the community that the Mazda 787B is planned to be released in the first public beta of the Classic Cars mod (CCM_Build_001). As mentioned by our ingame guru ADUBZ on the ISI forums, the eta for the first CCM build is expected sometime in a month as long as nothing occurs to delay us further. The CCM Build 001 will be released on rF2 and shortly after on other platforms such as rF1 and RACE07. We are prioritizing rF2 to provide some fresh new content to the game that the community can enjoy. Below are some renders of the current progress of the livery done by Nigel Phelan. This has been one of the most difficult liveries to recreate and Nigel has done an amazing job. Enjoy!

Brilliant stuff. Petros, Rhys here. I know it's been ages, and I disappeared off your radar for a long time - my life's gotten very busy since I wrote that F1 2007 article for you! But I've been following progress of MAK-Corp's in-progress content from time to time when I can, and I'm always impressed by the stuff you guys are putting out. I can't wait to give this 787B a thrashing around a good racetrack. I wish you the best of luck with this mod, keep it up! Rhys

Great to see you around and just take care of yourself and your family man, that's the most important thing! I still use msn and skype but I don't know if you have me on my main ones. The liveries are looking top notch. Great work, looking forward to test it (especially the Miura, to my knowledge nobody produces a Miura for rfactor before because it was almost never raced)...
The 787B looks very good Petros. You have three of my four favorite liveries for the car. The fourth one is green and orange also but the green and orange are swapped from the one you have so the front fenders are orange, etc.
