Guys, how do you open a .MAN file and why do I seem to be the only person in the world that can't do this?
Let the system do what it needs to do, its only a short wait and I will try again later, "knowing my luck" it'll probably go wrong. lol and I aint taking the blame for others not been able to download the mod. Thanks for the offer but I can wait. Cheers
Did you download with chrome? The .MAN file is due to your browser or download client. Just change the .man to .rfcmp and it will be fine.
Agree... v0.1 Sounds for me were Awesome, the sounds in v0.02 are nice but nothing like v0.01 Tried Petros idea to take the car out on the Ring, Great combo !
Sounds will be updated at the soonest possible time. We had some issue with the old sounds that we had to take care of, once Liquid's post is approved it you guys will be able to see why it is the way it is.
About the sounds guys I quote what one of the guys behind the mod said to me: Go to Mak Corp forums to give opinions and such about it and how to improve anything if you think that there is something wrong.
Guys... I just had another rf2 freeze up after letting the AI run at Sebring with the mod. After 5 laps it froze up... Didn`t try to take a screen or anything this time it just happened on it`s own. Again had to reboot to get back to windows. Have tried to post already at MC`s forum but my posts are awaiting approval...
Hi there. It sounds like a configuration issue. No one else has reported it, something like that would happen to everyone, so that unfortunately seems to be an issue at your end. Maybe something running in the background or maybe its over pushing your video card capabilities and its restarting?
I´m taking screenshots and all without problems using "F12" in rFactor 2. I have Chrome open as well (I have a dual core at 3.0Ghz) and I have no problems with the mod or any mod whatsoever. The game never froze for me. I have no plug ins in the game...plug ins were a pain with some mods in rFactor (1), if you (@tjc) have some plug ins installed, disable them.
Well I`ll continue to test but I`ve never had any of the freeze up problems with rf2 in the past and it was working perfectly well just last night... Only thing that`s changed since then was the installation of the beta. I`ll see how I get on later.
If you find out what the cause is, please let me know. As foxiol said, if you have any plugins, disable them for now. I hope you can get it fixed!
