Online subscription

Hi ,

i just saw a message on my RF2 launcher that my licence will expire on 15th of June 2014 ..........I think i bought a "full licence" ..........So what this message means ?

It was an annual payment unless you paid for "Lifetime" check your receipt from when you put down the payment.

This is only the multiplayer functionality of the sim, even if you don't renew, the sim will continue to work on the current build.

I didn't buy a lifetime license (just the regular duration one), but I thought that the "activation countdown timer" wasn't going to be activated until rFactor2 got out of beta. I keep a close eye on the rss feed of these forums and I don't remember seeing an announcement that activation was going to start. Did I just miss that?

 

Yeah, you missed that, about 15 months ago. rF2 since then is no longer considered 'beta' but 'evolving'. Instead of the first year of your subscription starting ~6 months after purchase, it didn't start until 18 months after purchase though.
You are free to continue using rF2 offline only after june 15th, renew your subscription for 12$ / year or upgrade to lifetime.

Or you can add a year on the purchase tab (login there, store, 12 months)

 

Thanks for the information. Not complaining, just didn't remember seeing the expiration date appear before on the rfactor2 main screen. It was probably there all the time but I just noticed it
