old setup import

    How do you import old setups from previous installs to a new install (reformat & install)?
    I don't want to go thru the whole process of try & retry till it's close, I've already done that!

    you will find your setups in rFactor2/UserData/player/settings then you will find the track folders

    I just copied my entire player folder over. All my settings were there. Controller, setups etc

    Heya Nib :)
    It does not have anything but rFactor2/UserData/Controller/ which just has the different controllers *.ini's
    my old install does have rFactor2/UserData/player/settings
    I have played and save a setup but it's in the \AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\rFactor2\UserData\player\Settings\

    Ok after some searching I found it. Have to make OS files and folder "show all" files
