As described, Offline and Online launch ok, but the Development version hangs and the screen goes black, then I have to hard reboot. Tried changing graphic settings, in the config.exe and the ATI launcher, nothing seems to help. Anyone else having this problem or found a solution? thx

Thanks Bala, but I can't imagine that this is the problem, since I have no special characters in my name. I am guessing it is crashing my video card somehow, since the screen goes black and the computer hangs. But why would the dev mode crash while the off and online work ok? Still looking for an answer.

OK, all modes work now. Updated gpu drivers, weren't that old though, lowered the resolution in config, and its working. I've been running in a windowed mode, and the dev forces full screen, which takes a little longer to load. All good now, thanks for suggestions.
