Yes, no improvement either. Same results. Tested in borderless again, same results.

@Mulero I think that you're CPU bound, that explains the sporadic drop in GPU load.
It takes 7ms for your CPU to submit all the commands to the GPU and more impressively it takes it 35ms to start a new frame. I will put some more CPU debugging tools in the next betas to investigate this.

@gp20 can you clear your shader cache?
delete all the files in here : rFactor 2\UserData\Log\Shaders
that gets rid of the shadow issue

Thanks @4thworld. In DX9 I am not having any problems. Settings to max and 40 IA without any problem. About 45 FPS at first, then always above 60 FPS

Thanks for the quick hotfix 4thworld, Performance seems to be better than yesterday.
    My machine:
    AMD 8320
    8gb ram
amd r9 380 4gb (asus strixx) This could be a problem,i'm stuck on driver 16.11.5 because of incompatibility with this board and the new amd voltage manager called wattman, that cause black screen and no control over fan and voltage)
    windows 10 x64 creator update
    This is My result:
    PerfLog_2017-5-4-18-18-13- in cockpit view
    PerfLog_2017-5-4-18-19-41- external view
one thig that i noted is the front wing of the usf2000, it have some missing parts.

external view displayed more fps than cockpit view

I let the ai to drive the car, dont know if this can affect the result
    this is my setting:

These performance variations have happened to me too.

With any graphical configuration change that I make, the performance is a little worse. I have to clean cbash and shaders to go back to the proper adequate performance, so maybe there are some dirty bits here and there in some of those files that get even dirtier with every change.

@4thworld @Mulero I tried both DX9 and DX11 and yes, on DX11 one thread is constantly at 100% (even without PP). On DX9 it's quite high, but usually stays below 100%. DX9: ~100fps, DX11: ~60fps no PP, USF @ silverstone international with 15 AI cars.

@4thworld @Proscribo I can confirm that in DX11 only one nucleus is working between 80% and 95%. Rest of nucleus are doing nothing.

I will close this thread because after the patch some people had their issue fixed.
I will open a new one with the difference in frame rate between DX9 and DX11.
