Since I have a six-core cpu now, I thought I would see if the Threaded Optimization setting in the Nvidia Control Panel was worth turning on or off or leaving at auto. Here are my benches using Fraps:

    Auto:
Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
    20338, 90000, 198, 252, 225.978

    On:
Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
    21081, 90000, 203, 263, 234.233

    Off:
Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
    20889, 90000, 204, 259, 232.100

As you can see, forcing it on gives the best results in terms of frames and fps. Surprisingly, leaving it on auto gave the worst results.

So there you go. Your results may vary.

Is this agnostic of whether the user has an AMD or Intel CPU? I have a Ryzen5 2600 as apposed to your Intel chip.
