Nvidia 970M. Problems with Beta

Hello.

I have a NVIDIA 970M in a MSI laptop computer, HQ 5700, 16 Gb RAM. When I start the game, I recieve the message that my graphic card doesn't have engough memory; it says that needs 512 Mb (my graphic card has 3 GB). I can access into the game, but I have only 10 frames per second without postprocess effects. I think that the game doesn't recognize the graphic card correctly.

Anyone have this problem? Any solution?. Thx. in advance.

Yep I had this problem too with a laptop. Do other games recognize your card? Atm rf2 is just recognizing your onboard graphic. I downloaded the original drivers from my laptop nvidia and Intel. Installed the Intel first, then nvidia. It solved the problem for me.
Hope this could be the solution for you ;)
Cheers

I only have this problem with rfactor2 beta. The other games and rfactor2 stable runs ok. In video settings, the card selected is Nvidia 970. I'll check the drivers. Thx. for your help.

There several cases which seem to be connected to a bad recognizition of the graphics card. rFconfig seems not to be working as expected.

In my case, the presented resolutions differ from what I have had so far in the video settings selection menus. Fullscreen is not working when using a different resolution to native one. It is presenting an unscaled windowed mode where ALT TAB does nothing and you need to exit rF2 to do anything else.

The 25% or so fps drop which I get wrt dx9 is similar to the drop in frames I usually have if using windowed or borderless modes. I must assume then that if I got full screen mode working correctly my framerate would increase up to at least normal values.

In Nvidia Control Panel, I forced 970M to run, selecting it like my preferred card. Now, Rfactor2 doesn't use integrated Intel card, and this solve the problem. Thx. for your help.
