My bad didn't see that post, just got home and noticed the update. Should make people happy I get nearly double the FPS now.

The new 296.10 driver increased the framerate a bit in my SLI based system.
It also introduced a very, very slight stutter as you drive along, which was not there with the 295.51 driver.
I also notice a slight flickering of sky textures at Portugal (bright to slightly darker) when you go on track.
I'm reverting to the previous driver for now.

I got somewhere around 30-40% performance gain over 285.62 drivers.

Non-SLI system - just a single GF450 GTS :) Performed clean driver install just in case.

Well FINALLY nVidia actually recognizes that rF even exists.
    They never have before.
The driver only mentions support for SLI in rF2.
Never the less, the driver is good and the previous driver did wonders for my setup along with the 60 build.
    I'm happy.

New Drivers didn't do anything for my SLI but at least they didn't do any damage.
Reading I see ppl getting double frame rates etc now, can't see it myself and I can only imagine they are more excited than accurate.

    I did some testing.

With previous drivers (295.73) at Portugal in Megane I got 35 FPS in the pit garage, with 296.10 drivers I got 73 FPS.

With both drivers settings in nVidia Control Panel and nVidia Inspector were default.

Why would it make a difference? The new driver adds SLI support, do you have 2 550s??

I got about a 40fps gain from the new drivers, even though I only have 1 GTX260. They must have made other optimizations to the drivers than just SLI.

I'm seeing big improvments now with SLI. For the first time it is worth it for me to run in SLI. Edit: BTW this is with 3 monitors 5040 x 1050.

Build 60, at Spa where I used to see 40-60 FPS after getting past Eau Rouge with 15 AI I see mostly 60-80 FPS. At two places where it used to drop to 35 FPS it only drops to 55 FPS. Seems like when I load it up with 29 AI (all visible) the SLI gain is only a few extra FPS on the grid but goes up quickly after Eau Rouge. And I see that both my GPUs are being fully utilized when the field is loaded up.

But here's a quirk... when I race with no AI, even though the FPS stays in the 80-90 range the graphics get very choppy (stutters). Looks like I getting 10-15 FPS at times. It is to the point of being non-usable. All the while my GPUs are running at about 75%. So it runs smoother under load. That seems weird to me.

    Settings all maxed except:
    Player: High
    Opponent : High
    Movies : Off
    Rain Drops : No

    Multi screen : ON
FXAA, Sync, HRD, in game AA: OFF
    Nvidia AA : 4x
    in game filter: bilinear
    Nvidia : 4x anisotropic

I've started getting a lot of bluescreen failures on starting my pc after this driver, reverted back to the beta driver.

Maybe it's better if you report it here, in Graphics/Performance Problem forum, could catch developer's attention quicker than in general forum.

Thanks, I double posted it. But in the build 60 archive. Hard to keep these forums organized.

Has anyone else got the MASSIVE problem with these drivers where you can't use Nvidia Surround or SLI ????

The text where you normally click is missing on the nvidia control panel but you can click where it should be to get to the options but then when you try and configure surround it just locks up! It was the same on the beta drivers but how could they have not fixed it for the official drivers?! So frustrating as this is supposed to help SLI performance in rf2 no end but seemingly not for triple screen users :(

I've had to revert back to the last official drivers, anyone else with this problem?
I've also emailed nvidia support but had no reply....

I always hate it when people do this, so I normally wouldn't post on the subject... BUT I have no problems with these drivers, best performance yet on rF2. All the options are there for me.

It would help if you added your specs to your profile though!

Same here, no problem on the last drivers, rF2 and rF1 with my 460 GTX SLI.

Sorry, just trying to find out if the nvidia surround problem is just for me or everyone. SLI does work on one screen but not on triple screens so be good to confirm you are both running triple screens. If so then it must of installed wrong or something similar.

I will put all my specs on my profile as I am fairly new to the forum. I'm running twin GTX480's on Windows 7 64 with 8gb ram.
