+1 nordschleife, mod or official I don't care.
Even a port from rf1 mod will do while waiting for a better conversion :)

Link? What they announced on their Fbook page was just the GP track, not the Nordschleife itself.

Not sure why everyone offers to the left nut why is the right so precious lol.

Here is a cool video of the 1967 track which would fit in so well with brianza and Spa, so as most have 2 nuts give one for the historic track and one for the current day one lol.

Hearing of the trouble that the track is coming under lets hope someone does a great digital recreation of it so we at least have something to keep it alive.

I am so glad the guys made the LIDAR version of oran park and I hope they make a version for RF2 of this great track that is now just a past memory thanks to it becoming a housing estate a couple of years ago.

I came across this sad video of Oran park as it was after demolition. Go to 5:20 when they turn around and drive the track in the racing direction, those familiar with the track may see this as sad as I do. All thanks to government noise regulations in the middle of nowhere and a greedy housing developer that was most likely responsible for the closing of the track and then buying it for a bargain once it was not allowed to host any more racing.

I was going to buy AC and this just confirms it, maybe those that will have both RF2 and AC may be able to have a RF2 conversion made by some clever person :D At least that way I will get to keep one nut.

I don't see the point of this 1960s madness for rf2.
Monaco: Beautiful, but a virtual "death-trap" for most drivers. Not a good track for close racing.
    Brianza: 98,85% full throttle. Boring.
Spa: More challenging than Brianza, but still gets boring after a while, especially with slower cars. Also has the "death-trap"-problem.

There are lots of older circuits promising closer racing (in my opinion), e.g. Nogaro, Cadwell Park, Zolder, Philipp Island just to name a few. Nordschleife would be a great addition, too, although I would prefer the current layout. It's still used by older racecars today (Oldtimer Granprix ...) and suits modern racecars better.

    Strange isnt it.

I was a kid when these tracks were raced, all my racing myths were made there.

I was sure all this era would dissapear into oblivion and I was amazed when GPL came, reviving the 60s.

Seems like all major modern F1 hype started just then and never looked back again...

(engine in the back, disc brakes, independent suspencion...and then the gods themselves, Jim Clark, Graham Hill, Bruce Mclaren, Jack Brabham, Phil Hill, Jackie Stewart to name a few...)

    hope maddness will continue :)

Mate this shows you just can't fast drive fast/don't know what racing is about yet.

Such easy tracks like Monza often offer the most exciting and dangerous racing because its easy to do a decent lap -> hence everybody drives very fast and its extremely hard to improve your laptime by a single tenth.
While "hard" tracks like Monaco are mostly about experience with that exact track, you need to know every milimeter of those, "easy" tracks can show better who is willing to go for that extra tenth and who is not because sole knowledge of track doesn't help much.

Monaco is won in qualifying. In Monza there can be nice high speed overtakes during race.
