Hello...
I am making this post on behalf of the SeeTheAir.com racing community.
It's an established console community which races Gran Turismo, pCARS, AC, Dirt Rally etc. on PS4.
In Jan 2017 a few of their key members took part in a race I had set up and wanted to explore of this rFactor 2-thing. Because of its diversity and possibilities such as stock cars, open wheelers and tin tops... Endless tracks (over time)... Needless to say they wanted to explore PC-racing and rFactor 2 seemed like the obvious choice.
Basically they kind of head-hunted me (tooting my own horn here, I know) to help out setting up servers, getting the basics of modding, setting up series with custom skins etc.
So far we're halfway through our first 'warm-up' series called "Le Petit GT Series". It consists of 60 to 90 min long races every friday night at 8PM EST - we run modified URD-content. Servers are locked for this reason and you need to own those mods to take part in that particular series. Oh. There's a NASCAR division too... And sometimes we run some stuff I'd like to call "My own blend"
So far we've been 10 people racing at most but we haven't really done much to spread the word about us and the in-my-opinion unique series and community.
The plan is to run multiple series, not just one - one of them will however be a full-blown multiclass series if participants reaches a number that allows it at some point.

You'll also find forums where you can sign up for the rF2-series we run - NASCAR and GTLM so far.
Oh yeah and most communications (day to day) actually is handled through Discord
