That is exactly all I said GT2 feels like and got slapped as a troll. lool But it is very good visual immersion and some great audio effects ( rF2 wind is still better though ) I agree with others, I like the idea of the fogginess but it permeates everything, almost every Nords screenshot I seen looks a notch down to the normal realistic looking ambiance. ---------------- I will stick with our Nords thanks. That is what rF2 physics do for you, driving a very average beta conversion like Kyalami with many faults is still awesome. Once you hook a few turns up there and get a car on the edge , well , the scenery and textures, they just fade into obscurity.
Just read driver is Kevin Estre, i know him from Porsche Cup. I hardly saw someone push that hard at a Nordschleife lap, crazy!
I tried a night race, it's hard with current headlights, you only see about 40 meters ahead ! my laptime was 8s slower
So I have a race this evening on the VLN layout and something just dawned on me. I'm slightly concerned about pit stops. Are they correctly configured? In my head the entrance to the pit is at the end of the GP part of the circuit. My concern is that someone will pit and it will increment them a lap up on the field or is it possible to merge in to the pits on the start finish straight? I can't get on to test so I'm a bit worried. Edit: a member just tested and says it appears to work as intended. I'll leave this post here in case anyone has the same worry, though.
You cant cheat and get an extra lap without running the nords. I tried every possibility as I wanted to be the SC for a second start grouo and then rejoin the first group, but I couldnt get an extra lap. It is simply impossible. I tried all ways even going the wrong way on the Nords part. In post 2 to 4 in the linked thread you find a tutorial how to pit in a race. Correct, in practice you can gain laps by pitting after the GP track, but that doesnt give you an advantage. In the race session it is all fine. Very good job, by the modders

I've never really been a fan of the 'Ring because I've got better things to do than hot lap but I finally got around to downloading this thing and it looks great.
Since this year 24h Nordschleife race, there are official 5 sectors! View attachment 16712 View attachment 16713 did you plan to include this sectors in the Nordschleife for rFactor2?
