Here are my settings for 104 cars (GTX670 2GB, i5 2500k, 16GB RAM). If you run a session with 103 AI cars (depends on the mod and the number of different models and skins) I recommend at least a 2GB gfx card and 12GB System RAM. Most of the time the fps are above 100 with my settings.
Hi guys -- just did a fast rolling start at the new track and the cars (15 AI) all crashed into each other along the end of the Nords straight before it joins the new circuit.
Yes I must agree amazing job Tosch & DJCruicky thankyou for your hard werk. A little off topic but how can I use the HDR profile from this track on other tracks? SS
Thanks for the report. Teleport spots were messed up (the cars next to each other share the same teleport). Just created new ones. No fast rolling starts or skip formation lap until the next update.
I've noticed that the AI's will slow down a lot in the very fast left-hander at the end of the long straight (just under the bridge/old tourist start/finish line). Is something messed up with the AI path there? Have you noticed it? Except for that full throttle-corner the AI's are really good!
GP nurburgring track used in F1 is accurate? for elevations ... realistic? Congratulations for your hard work
Absolutely stunning work guys, thanks for all your efforts. I get some noticeable lags with 19 AI on a GTX 660 most stuff on MAX settings, will try to reduce them a notch to high and see if it helps. All the best, Uwe EDIT: Mostly on the GP circuit, less lagging on the Nordschleife.
PS: What's the TRACKSTAT name for this track? Is it still ring_tourist? My 9:15 in the Camaro never registered as a new PB or WR at rf2 Rank: RING_TOURIST Camaro GT3 2012 Camaro GT3 2012 Please make sure the new layout has a proper TRACKSTAT gdb entry. Thanks! uwe
Is it me or the AI is like divebombing on those curbs?? Anyone else noticed it? AFAIK stepping on the Ring's curbs is suicide.... So, i think this part needs some work... About the rest, i'm impressed with this track Cheers
Nissan GTR? I tried a lot to calm these guys a bit, but they don't care about my fast path, corridor settings, whatever. I see that at other tracks too, so it seems it depends on the mod.
Got similar experience with URD T5 Mod. 103 AI`s, very smooth, lowest FPS was around 60 FPS on the start, but everything on High/Max, HDR OFF. During practice it was between 100 and 150 FPS, mostly around 100/110 FPS, just one short drop down to 58 FPS on the Nordschleife. By the way, with full grid, Dashmeter Pro is crashing (reproduceable) rF2. RAM usage was around 7.3 GB, CPU around 19%.
Even the marussias do it.... On other tracks it is normal to see drivers step on te curbs... But doing on the Ring is suicide... I noticed that the Nissan GTR tend to crash alot on the same place (on a downhill right turn, don't know the name), but all the cars in general tend to abuse when it comes to cut corners... Cheers
Hi Sven, I've created a little website where you can upload your rf2 lap times: http://rf2.gplrank.info/ It relies on car classes and tracks naming their assets properly as your PB times are saved in all those "CCH" files you find in your userdata folder. If a track or a car doesn't have proper naming, different layouts won't get registered correctly and so on. It's a little detail, but it has a large effect on rF2 Rank. Thanks for considering this, Tosch, you rock! Uwe
Just realized, that the rollercoaster (RingRacer) is working on this amazing track...lol...better than in reality
