I have been searching for a tutorial in this forum and have searched google and U-tube with no luck. I would like to know how to make headlights /taillights for rfactor 2 using 3DS Max. I understand, with the help of this thread, how the light beam works and how to change intensity and color. What I do not know or understand is how to make the glow and how it is turned on and off with the "H" key. Any help would be extremely appreciated. Thanks, Goat
There is light flare tutorial at rfactorcentral, but it is rF1, don't know if it is applicable for rf2. Information from this subject would be very useful at this end too.
Here is what I have at this point. I have a plane established. I have mapped it with a light glow transparency from rFactor1 and when in the game the light glow works just fine but the plane is black from the front of the car and transparent when looking from the cockpit. Selections in 3dSMax are: SRC Alpha/ INV SRC Alpha Light Glare Shader Move Smooth / Omni Gmotor How do I make the plane disappear?
