As per title, NOLA gets stuck verifying at 43%. Reading various forums I'm not alone with this issue.

I have the same problem with a third party mod. No way to install it.

You should be able to put the .rfcmp file into the Packages folder and install with the mod manager in the rF launcher.

Thanks for the try but that doesn't help. When you install the rfcmp files they still have to verify. Using the rfcmp file you linked to it still freezes at 43% when I install it.

This method seems to be working for some people.

    EDIT:
and by old mod manager I mean the one in Steam\SteamApps\common\rFactor 2\Bin32

i can confirm what @hexagramme said it's working but you must be sure to use the old mod manager you can find in the folder Bin32

Create a shortcut to the mod manager exe file, and in the target add +path=".." . That way it points to the right folders.

This did the trick: the "+path" finally allowed for the mod that was giving me problems to be extracted in the proper place, thanks for the tip!

Thanks everyone. The old mod manager did the trick. Fixed Matsusaka as well!

The default path in Mod Manager for 'Working Dir' is Bin32, ideally it should be changed using the browse button 'B' next to 'Working Dir' at the bottom of the mod manager window - point it to the 'rFactor2' folder.

I did it for the packages location, but I think I forgot to do it for the extraction path: that's why the mod was being extracted in the Bin32 folder and I didn't see it in-game. Makes sense. :)
