No trees on the Nords

    There are no trees on the nords with the unstable build in 64bit mode. Tomorow i will test the 32bit version

    The author will have to see where these meshes came from. If you read the "known issues" file, there are some issues with non-standard GMT files being written which are no convertible to 64 bits.

    Oh Sorry my english is not the best. But the autos of the Nords left the ISI forum and stopped the work on the track. That could be a problem for the future.

    Heard that he is ok with someone else carring on with it. If true then shouldn't be a problem.

    Are you talking about the Tourist 1.65 beta? If so, I'm not seeing any problems with the trees in 64 bits mode on this track.

    Think it could be what car you drive.

    With BrabhamBT20 the trees are missing:-

    but with the SPCL1 Miata car the trees are back:

    Wonder why that is, do you get the same?

    Windscreen rendering the trees? I know that sounds weird but there have been a few issues in the past where Windscreens were to blame (black "shadow" areas following cars for example)

    No trees with the Audi in the BES mod.

    Confirmed, I noted this in internal testing as well with the 64bit build, it might be a "mesh issue" whatever that means, I'm certainly no expert ;)

    Good news to see development of this track continued though, is this coming from a reliable source?

    Drop back to 0.97n if you don't like the curbs, 1.60 I did have the forests return, 1.65 all the "new" forests are gone.

    @hoover, no the guy is not coming back. He now making a version of Nords for AC. See last page of the Nords thread.

    why is he doing nords for AC?

    I could be wrong but hasn't kunos stated they'll be releasing nords themselves

    So that's Nords by Snoopy, Nords by Pleclair, Nords by another modder whose name I've momentarily forgotten and Nords by AC.

    What a waste of many people's talents.

    Sorry, I was wrong about 1.60 showing trees, I had 1.50 loaded, it has the old forests with curbs and the rounded terrain. 1.60 and 1.65 have the missing new forests.

    Same here with 1.65 when track detail is set to Full; trees appear again when I set track detail to High, not sure if all trees, but at least a lot of them ;)

    same for me with a mixture of URD EGT and ISI cars. v1.5 is not an option for me since the AIW is perfect in v1.65 and I don't wanna go back to worse AI. tried to put v1.65 AIW file into v1.5 MAS but it didn't work.
