No Force Feedback

all of a sudden. Yesterday I started rF2 and had no ffb. Used wizard to calibrate everything all axis which worked flawless as before. Tried the different Logitech G29 n custom profiles which loaded just fine also. Still everything worked but simply no ffb at all.

Tried again today after verifying rF2 Steam install - no luck.

All other racing games work, just here the ffb is missing. Played the rf2 just one week ago last time.
Now I'm running out of ideas.

Setup's a G 29 running recent G HUB version 2025.1.

Very known problem. Uninstall ghub or roll back to a earlier version
I tried going back to 2024.1 and it forced 2025.1. I have the original 2024.1 and tried again with the internet disconnected and it crashed windows (probably stuck in a loop). Some have just deleted GHub and it worked. See the GHUB Flub thread.

Yeah, the latest GHUB update broke the rFactor2 FFB, even if your wheel isn't a Logitech. Rollback to previous version or uninstall it.

I found that rolling back didn't work for any 2024-xxx files and some 2023 ones, it still autoupdated to the current 2025 one on install. I managed to roll back successfully to a 2023 version from here =>https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025298133-Logitech-G-HUB
Select your OS and select the "show all downloads" link, then scroll down to the 2023.1.364056 version;

I have a g923 and opened rf2 yesterday and the wheel was about as stiff as you can get. Didn't effect lemans ultimate, that was just fine.
I do know about the update a few days ago.

Thanks Mates :)

Bit of an update thanks to @Badwallflower on discord;
It's not the driver causing the problem, it's the SDK Logitech included with G-Hub. If you navigate to C:\Program Files\Logi\wheel_sdk\9_0_0 and delete the content of that folder, force feedback returns and rfactor2 can start.

there are a lot of threads about this problem on the forum.
i think here there are all the solutions

p.s. i solved with 2023.1 version. it could be interesting id someone could try latest ghub version deleting sdk dir like Goanna wrote

Just for my curiosity

has anyone tried the latest version of the G Hub?
https://support.logi.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360048967733-G-HUB-Update-Release-Notes
Does it solve the problem?
And if not, have you tried deleting sdk dir like Goanna wrote?
I'm on a 2023.10 version because my g923 wheel went stiff in rf2, I'm stuck with that, don't know what an improvement it would make by updating, I don't want the wheel to go stiff again, you cannot get older versions anymore and if you find one it will just update to the newest even if you have updates disabled.

Are you sure about that Steve? I just downloaded and installed 2023.10.493246 and it installed without updating. It says it has an update available but I ignore the download now button.

A guy from the lmu forum said that he downloaded it and automatically updated there were others who said the same thing, I couldn't see for myself because mine is ok and I didn't want to cause a problem. I am going to give him that link, that seems to be same site.
