SOLVED No engine sound at IndyCar IR 18

Hello,

I installed the IndyCar Pack and wanted to race, but there is no engine sound at all. I can hear the tires and all the other stuff. I tried to change the maximum effects to 64 and restarted the game - no engine sound
I deleted the sound effects in the player json but it also didn't help...

Do you have any ideas what else I can do? Thanks for your help.

what version are you running? It appears you are not using either of the two latest versions. Your max sounds should be 255.
When loading any track, you should see a version # at the bottom right, v1131(NONE) or v1132(release candidate) are the most current versions.

Good to hear. Always keep rf2 updated, they are essential and bring lot of improvements, for free.

I'm glad you mentioned the max sounds @ 64, that was the tip-off. Go enjoy!
