    Hi guys !
Just updated my video card driver to latest WHQL 337.88 for my 780TI Superclocked and now it's impossible to start rF2.
Tried to delete the config.ini to let the program create a new one but without success.
Restarting the PC or running DXSetup.exe didn't help either.
This is the message that appears when trying to launch the game or by clicking "configure sim":
    View attachment 12922

Did anyone else already install this driver ?

    Thank you for reading.

PS: Other games working good but DX10 or 11. rF2 is my only DX9 game so can't check if it's a driver issue or a game issue.

Does everything look ok if you bring up the device manager and look under Display Adapters, or are there any yellow exclamation marks there?

MMmmm ok, you scared me, I'm currently downloading them. I just read the Release notes on the web site and didn't see any restriction around DX9. I will not install them until I'm sure they don't have any problem with rF2...

BTW, you should have previous drivers versions on your HDD. I found the 3 last drivers versions in my c:\NVIDIA directory. So you can at least revert back to previous one I guess...

Yes everything's ok, thank you for your reply.

Just found the problem. I forgot to uninstall the dll that made possible the "clamp negative LOD bias".

My fault, sorry for posting too quickly.

This could be my problem too. Where is the dll you are referring too to be found?

If you have LOD clamp fix ( d3d9.dll or nvd3dum.dll ) in root folder delete it before you run 3DConfig.

Thank you so much mate! I had a nvd3dum.dll in core folder, and before delete it, rF2 works perfectly.

Thought you may have missed Jeppy's second post............. ;)

Yes remove LOD fix in any sim you have for WHQL 337.88

After 3DConfig paste back if needed.

You do not need for rF2 now as you have LOD adjustment in Player.PLR

    [ Graphic Options ]
    Texture Sharpening="3" // Sharpen textures using MIP LOD bias - 0=Off, 1=+2.0(very blurry), 2=+1.0(blurry), 3=-1.0(sharp), 4=-2.0(very sharp), 5=0.0(auto)
