[REL] NextGenUI [Alpha 0.3]

Main thing that stops me from using this ui (and similar rf2 extras) are situations when rf2 gets updated and then breaks this ui, I guess at that point we need to manually restore old ui or wait for this to be updated?
I rarely play these days and don't have time and will to hassle with that.
Is it possible to make it fallback to default ui in that case?
I wasn't following this thread and sorry if this was already asked.
Thanks for contributing to the community with this.

That's the main issue. Luckily now we have release-candidate version. And this UI will be compatible with stable versions as long as I will have a time to maintain it. I can prepare updates on release-candidate version before release-candidate will become stable version :)

No. And to be honest, maybe that's good ;) I mean that this is community project and i will develop that for community as long as possible, with support for every new rf2 update,
What?!??! Making developments that go side-by-side with base users interests??? This is rF2 man! ;)

I'm not sure what you guys think but I find the 'scatter chart' completely useless and ugly. Is there perhaps somthing more useful we could have in this space?

Also the left and right arrows.. do they really serve any purpose?

Hahah, I was actually wondering that myself the other night!

It just seems like extra bumf for me which doesn't really serve any purpose.
If you got rid of that screen, then there would be more room for the buttons along the bottom, and no need for the arrows.

Left and right let's you navigate through the menu, which basically is a purpose. But if you ask me it's senseless: This menu has three different ways of navigation which is at least two too much.
If I could change that screen, I would change it to one navigation style, maybe into something like a tile menu or a classic menu or a mixture of both like what ACC has...

Some people have complained because they don't see the "Exit" button of the official UI, because it's behind their steering wheel,
I suposse that those arrows will be useful for them.

I agree with everything, but that would make default and this UI very diferent (and sometimes, we'll have to deal with default one).
S397 should had done the new UI from a blank slate, not using game internal organisation. It's messy.

Previous version updated to newest rFactor 2 Build (v1125)

No big changes, just update to newest build.
More goods coming soon, very soon. I just wanted to share version that's compatible with current build as soon as possible.

Download link in first post.

Pressing RACE in main/first menu, loads the Race tab (before loading screen). Don't know if it's a bug but not very pretty.
A temporary sub-screen could be nicer ("Loading").

Do you have control over loading screen? (as net.rfactor2.app.loading.jar sugests)
If so Content Manager does it right, with a picture of the car/track (any picture will do for that matter ;))

@Duif thank you very much for your work and efforts improving the experience!
Just a little hint: You may want to update your signature as it's leading to page 2 and not to the first post ;)
